Entries to be hung should be suitably framed, with cord or wire for hanging.  Entrants /schools are responsible for delivery and collection of their entry to and from the Showgrounds. Works must be received by 5:00pm Wednesday 11th March 2020.

ELIGIBILITY: Work completed by students since previous June is acceptable, and work by last year’s High School graduates is welcomed.

ENTRY FEE: $1.  Entries close Monday 9th March 2020 with the Show Secretary at Show Office or PO Box 91 Oakey Qld 4401.

PRIZES: FIRST $10; SECOND $5; THIRD $3 sponsored by Mrs Joanne Evans.  CHAMPION EXHIBIT: $30 cash prize.

 

JUNIOR SECTION - Years 7 - 8

 

Class 7           Drawing - any subject, any medium

Class 8           Modern work / design in colour - any medium

Class 9           Three dimensional work e.g. Pop Art, Clay work, etc.

 

 

SENIOR SECTION - YEARS 9 - 10

Class 10         Drawing - any subject, any medium

Class 11         Modern work / design in colour - any medium

Class 12         Three dimensional work e.g. Pop Art, Clay work, etc.

 

 

SENIOR SECTION - YEARS 11 - 12

Class 13         Drawing - any subject, any medium

JUNIOR ART COMPETITION

Entries in this section are individually entered and not associated with school displays, may have been created at school or at home, and must be entirely the work of the entrant. Each entry must be marked on the back with artist’s name, age at the time of completing the work, current address, together with section and class number. All work must be either mounted on cardboard or framed to enable entry to be appropriately displayed. No size restrictions apply.

Artwork must be with the Secretary by 5.00pm Wednesday 11 March 2020. It may be delivered to the Show Office on the grounds or posted to P.O. Box 91 Oakey 4401.

Entry Fee: 50c Eligibility: Work completed since previous June is acceptable.

Entries, Entry Fee and Exhibitor details must be received by 4.00pm on Monday 9th March 2020 at the Show Secretary's Office, Oakey Showgrounds.  Exhibits will be displayed in The Gallery on Show Day and may be collected after 5.00pm on Saturday 14 March 2020. All uncollected entries will no longer remain the responsibility of the Show Society unless alternate arrangements have been made prior to Show Day.
