Entries to be displayed at the Oakey Show, Saturday 13 March 2021
Enter on Section Q Official Entry Form (see back of schedule) for Fine Arts.
Each entry must be original and completed in the previous 2 years. NB original means works not copied from other artists' work, prints, calendars, postcards or photographs taken by other people, or work done at workshops. No computer generated images or airbrushing will be accepted. Work must not have been previously shown at the Oakey Show. Stewards have the right to make final decision about eligibility of entries.
All entry forms to be forwarded with entry fees to the Show Secretary by Monday 8th March 2021 to: PO Box 91, Oakey 4401 or @ Show Secretary's Office. Late entries incur a penalty of $10 per entry above the regular entry fee. Entry forms are in the back of the schedule.
All works must be delivered to the Oakey Showgrounds by 9am Friday 12 March 2021.
Entrants will allow TV and Newspaper Reproduction of their entry during the Show.
Paintings and Drawings must be framed and suitably mounted with D rings with cord or wire for hanging. No size of any painting or drawing is to exceed 1 metre including frame. Inadequately Framed Artwork will not be hung.
Each entry must be clearly marked on the back with the entrant's NAME, PHONE NUMBER, TITLE OF ENTRY, SECTION, CLASS and SELLING PRICE (OR NOT FOR SALE).
Exhibits may be sold at the marked price. Oakey Show Society will retain 20% commission on sales.
Paintings must be collected by 5pm Saturday of Show, or at the discretion of the Chief Steward or unless other arrangements have been made. All works not collected after that time will no longer remain the responsibility of the Show Society.
All entries are accepted and displayed at the owner's risk. Oakey Show Society accepts no liability for loss, damage or theft. Please read the conditions as detailed in Section Q above. These apply to all art entries.
ENTRY FEE: $5 per entry.
The Oakey Art Group Award consists of a Voucher for $100.00 (non-transferable for cash) towards participation in an Oakey Art Group Workshop for the current year.
The Award is open to any person who has not previously received it within the last 3 years and is not transferable.

The Champion Painting $100 sponsored by Mr Jim Skinner will be chosen next.
This Art will be judged first then removed from their class before other judging.
Prizes Classes 1-6 may be vouchers and/or cash - First Prize: $50.00. Second Prize: $35.00. Third Prize: $15.00.
